With over fifteen years of experience in the field of technology applied to auditing, information security, and risk management, Ricardo Arellano has established himself as a key figure in the implementation of access control and regulatory compliance solutions in Latin America. He currently serves as Senior Manager at Cybertrust Latin America, where he leads strategic initiatives in SAP security; Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), as well as user role and profile reengineering.
His experience encompasses high-impact projects across various sectors, from access remediation in SAP environments to the implementation of platforms such as SAP GRC and Audit Management. His approach combines technical rigor with a comprehensive business perspective, enabling him to lead regional efforts aimed at strengthening internal control architectures and enhancing organizational resilience against technological risks.
In the academic sphere, Ricardo is a speaker for the Chilean Institute of Internal Auditors (ICAI) in specialized courses on SAP security and auditing, and a lecturer in postgraduate programs at the University of Chile focused on ERP system auditing. He holds a degree in Information Technology Management from the University of San Sebastián and completed postgraduate studies in Forensic Auditing, Internal Control, and Management Control at the Central University of Chile, where he also earned a Master's degree in Corporate Risk Management and Control.
