Gerard (Gerry) Zack is the Founder and CEO of RiskTrek LLC, a consulting firm specializing in regulatory compliance, fraud prevention, enterprise risk management, internal audit, governance, and sustainability.
From 2017 to 2024, he served as CEO of the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE) and the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA), two globally recognized organizations with over 19,000 members across more than 100 countries.
During his tenure at SCCE & HCCA, Gerry led a period of significant global expansion, strengthening the professionalization of compliance and ethics across diverse sectors such as healthcare, technology, and finance. He played a key role in the development of certification programs, international conferences, and educational resources that are now industry benchmarks. His leadership was recognized for its strategic vision, commitment to integrity, and ability to connect professional communities worldwide.
Prior to his role at SCCE, Gerry accumulated over 30 years of experience with global accounting and consulting firms, as well as his own boutique practice. He has worked in more than 25 countries, delivering services in risk management, fraud investigations, forensic audits, executive training, and compliance advisory. He also served as Chair of the Board of Regents of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), where he was a faculty member for 12 years.
In addition to his professional experience, Gerry is the author of several books on fraud prevention and investigation and has contributed hundreds of articles to specialized journals on compliance, risk management, and governance.
He is a highly sought-after speaker at international conferences on GRC, Compliance, Ethics and Integrity, ERM, and Fraud Prevention. He holds a BSBA in Accounting from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in Finance from Loyola University in Maryland.
